About VCUCB
The Valparaiso Community/University Concert Band (VCUCB) is open to all persons
high school age and above without fee or audition. So, if you have ever attended one
of our concerts and said to yourself, "Gee, I'd like to do that", or "Gee, I used to do
that", get up in the attic and dig out that horn you used to play in high school, dust
it off and come join us!
The Valparaiso Community/University Concert Band rehearses year-round.
Weekly band rehearsals when the university is in session are held on Tuesday
evenings.
Summer band rehearsals when the university is not in session are held on Wednesday
evenings.
Rehearsals begin at 7:15pm and are held in Room #1518 in the Valparaiso University
Center for the Arts (VUCA)
